Just thought i would update you on my journey through eharmony. I have been on eharmony for about 1mo now…. and so far, well i’m getting discouraged. I have had over 100 matches and have closed most of them. I really want to show you pictures of some of the guys i didn’t choose because they are quite entertaining. I mean, who knew that mullets were back in style 
Also, i think some of these guys need help in choosing which pictures they should upload and which they should NOT!! emphasis on not!! hahahaha. One guy’s profile consisted entirely of photos of him with his Javelin. Yes, javelin!!!!! He was in a martial arts outfit.. but seriously. haha. i guess his thinking was much like Napoleon Dynamites “a girl likes a guy with skills.” – esp. javelin skills. haha.
I really want to show these pics because they are so entertaining .. but alas, those of you reading my blog may actually know the ninja javelin lover or the fellow with the mullet – I will resist the temptation. Ok.. i can’t stand it… i will only show you one.. ONLY because his face is hidden…. we will just call him Luke S. for obvious reasons.
I don’t think i can be his Princess Lea….
Have any of you done eharmony and had a success? Should i stay on this thing… or do i need to try some other options? Ha.. believe me .. i am beginning to wonder.
Hmm..sounds you like you hav a delima. Let me share some stories. First one, back two Aprils ago a guy that I knew from AR meets a gal via eharmony. They start talking he moves to the state that she is living in after 3 months of talking and road trip visits. This past July they get married and live happily ever-afterat least as far as I know.
Story 2: Run into a guy I hadnt seen in about a yr before I came to Southern. Introduces this chick that he’s with as his friend. I ask, “How long have you been dating?” He responds,”oh this is my wife. We meet online about 6 month ago and have been married for about a month.” Me, “Oh……welll……that’s..great! Really happy for you guys.” Couple still married just had their first kid a couple of months back.
Story 3: A certain family member joins eharmony unbeknownst to me about a year ago. Only a few matchs, and no one replies back.

Hi Jules – Paula from TofuHouse group…I had to comment on this one. Really – that was a picture from someone’s profile??lol – have you seen that teen movie 17 Again? There is a pretty funny reference to the whole sci fi/ nerd thing…they are really out there! I think that there may be some business opportunities for you with some of these guys – I am not kidding…they need new pictures with STYLE.
Sorry I can’t give you any personal advice – luckily I found my guy before the whole internet thing started…BUT I have several girlfriends that are going through the same thing and have since stopped all internet dating and have been just doing it the old fashioned way through friends. Though not having any better luck. Now – Facebook has been a whole other story! I have seen two friends get back in touch with OLD friends and now they are getting married next year – Who would have known??
